Member for Cowan, Dr Anne Aly today announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $500,000 to the Multicultural Services Centre of WA for the construction of a second storey and a rooftop community garden for their Multicultural Hub in Mirrabooka.
This $500,000 election commitment will build infrastructure to host activities including upskilling workshops for women from multicultural backgrounds, a visual arts exhibition for emerging multicultural artists, community storytelling, poetry and related activities.
The funding is a part of the Albanese Labor Government’s commitment to ensuring multicultural communities in Western Australia continue to thrive by having access to broad range of services that are specifically tailored to them.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
