Media Release: LABOR SUPPORTING VAISHNAV SANGH IN COWAN

Member for Cowan, Dr Anne Aly announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $500,000 for the Shreenath Dham Haveli Community Cultural Centre in Wangara.

 

This election commitment will fund a range of activities including Gujarati language teaching, Vaishnava art, dance, music activities and celebrating festivals, vegetarian cooking classes and providing vegetarian meals for the wider community.

 

This funding is part of the Albanese Labor Government’s commitment to ensuring multicultural communities in Western Australia are supported and have the infrastructure they need to practice and celebrate their faith.

 

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
