Media Release: LABOR INVESTING IN REDEVELOPED COMMUNITY HUB FOR GIRRAWHEEN

Labor Member for Cowan, Anne Aly today announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $5.5 million towards the Girrawheen Hub Precinct.

 

This election commitment will help create an accessible multi-purpose space that provides opportunities for gatherings, education and community programs and services.

 

The redevelopment will also incorporate the existing uses of the hub, library, community centre and community garden.

 

The funding is a part of the Albanese Labor Government’s commitment to ensuring local communities in Western Australia continue to thrive by having access to state of the art facilities.

 

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
